One of the most anticipated DJ systems in recent memory, the Traktor S4 system from Native Instruments, is going to be available this winter for $999 USD / 899 EUR (~ $1,108 AUD). It’s a 1-to-1 DJ solution that combines a 4 channel hardware interface with a special version of Traktor Pro, called S4, which is equipped with exclusive features like loop decks and a special loop recorder for building on-the-fly performances.

Blackhole recordings has announced a comp to remix the new single from Moonbeam, The Lilt. The winners will get a release on the single and the best remix gets 100 euros and a CD pack from Blackhole. Closes 22nd September

With the hotly anticipated release of Gareth Emery's artist album Northern Lights out on Garuda, we get a glimpse in the first official video. The single is called Sanctuary. I remember seeing parts of this a few months back and I'm happy to see the final result.
